The view from the Ioma del Tempul

The population of Algar is one that is separated by mundane noise, instead filled with beautiful nature. Although the town exists since the Neolithic period, its domination is Arabic, and it has great monumental richness like the church and the town hall. All of these places listed will be discovered on this excursion.

The church in Algar

The excursion will take place between the Grazalema mountain range and the los Alcornocales National Park in the province of Cadiz. The views of the reservoir always delight photography fans for its incredible sights that we will see on this journey.

The mountain range at dawn

The journey could be described as a photographic hike as it tries to go through the different viewpoints that peak through the limestone’s visibility to the waters of the Guadalcacin reserve.

The sight from the viewpoint

The excursion has the difficulty one might expect from a level two course. In addition to the expressed information the excursion is developed by unmarked goat paths that will delight our lovers of hiking adventures.

Goat Paths

The tour is lively at all times with docile animals that like to look and greet you as you go along the path.

El Tajo del Aguila

We will make our first stop in order to eat fruit at one of the viewpoints. And once we are at el Tajo, we will make a stop in order to eat bocadillos (a traditional Spanish sandwich) and/or snacks that you and/or your fellow travelers have brought with you.

The Pier

The beauty is the final viewpoint from la Loma del Tempul where you can see the rest of the Roman aqueduct and a fantastic panoramic of the mountain range of la Sal and of las Cabras.
